ON a sad note I have to report the death of Allan Graham, a foundation member of the Corrimal Leagues Club Fishing Club.

``Pud", as he was known by Illawarra anglers, was the treasurer of the Corrimal Fishing Club practically since its formation.

Fishing club president Helga Lovstad said: ``Pud was that keen a treasurer he even gave me a note the last time I visited him in hospital before he passed away with the name of everyone who owed the club money."

We all say farewell to Allan ``Pud" Graham, and thank him for being part of our lives over the past decade

From Steve Miller, the Warilla Hotel biro man, comes news of Joe di Silvia catching the best bag of fish during the club's latest bash - a 31kg bag of groper, drummer and bream all taken on crab bait, or royal red prawns, around the Five Islands.

Tod Starling caught the heaviest fish - a 7.6kg groper - on a royal red prawn. Jack Lavender won the junior hit-out with a bag of drummer, Corey Sullivan caught the best fish in the junior division - a huge blackfish on a live worm in Lake Illawarra.
